In 2006, the entrepreneur in Gautam surfaced and he ventured out on his own. He returned to India to set up a travel marketing organisation and has been associated with leading global travel brands including US Airways, Royal Caribbean Cruise Ltd, Hertz, British Midland, America West Airlines and Hyatt Corporation.
